Korero from the Acting Principal:
Wow! Term 1 over just like that. Although we have had a couple of short weeks, it has been an 11 week term and there are lots of tired students. Normally playground and classroom niggles become more of a big deal because of their tiredness at the end of term. Please continue to support your tamariki at home with conversations about their day and supporting their emotions until Friday! Students have worked hard over these last 11 weeks and hats off to their teachers who go above and beyond for our RPS kids. We have also thrown a new timetable into the mix this year which our students have coped really well with; with a few slight tweaks we will be eager and ready for more exciting and engaged learning next term. We welcome back Richelle (Mrs McDonald) next term and look forward to hearing about her trip and the Principal exchange she has been involved in. Have a fantastic break – stay safe and we will see you all next term.
Kia ora koutou,
