Nga mihi nui ki a koutou katoa – warm greetings to everyone
REPS:
As we head into the last few weeks of school for the year, the teachers are busy writing and checking reports and finishing off lots of lose ends for the year. The children are excited about the holidays, and parents can get a little overwhelmed with the count down to Christmas. It is always a good idea to begin the day with some positive communication and it help your child to have a settled day. Here are some ideas to change it up…
Global World Inquiry:
This term our children have all taken a continent or country to learn more about. They have been looking at how we are connected with other cultures by comparing and contrasting similarities and differences. Some classes have taken a social conscience angle and are attempting to raise funds to support a charity/cause that they have been researching. Please note that while we love your support, the classes are all working on this and we don’t expect you to support everything! This is more about the children’s learning. More details can be found below.
Charter and Curriculum Review:
An email has been sent out to fill in our charter and curriculum review. We are keen to hear your thoughts so that we can design learning that best meets your child’s needs. Please take a moment to complete the review, if you haven’t already, online by clicking the link provided below or going through your email. Please only answer it once!
