Teacher Only Day:
Reminder…
On Friday 9 March, we will be holding the first of two Te Kahui Ako o Reporoa – Community of Learning Teacher Only Days at Reporoa College. (NOTE: Reporoa Primary School will be CLOSED!)
All of our teaching staff, Principal and Teachers’ Aides will be involved along with staff from Broadlands, Reporoa College, Lake Rerewhakaaitu and Mihi.
One of our CoL’s ‘Achievement Challenges’ prioritises the lifting of oral language skills from Early Childhood through to Year 13.
We look forward to sharing more information with you as to how we will be achieving this goal through specific teaching and learning activities in 2018.
The Community of Learning Vision…
To be a Responsive, Equitable & Powerful Learning Community’

Congratulations John and Jolene for winning the “Goodsorts” award! We will let you know when the segment will air on channel 1.

Congratulations…
…to the RATS duathlon team. They had a great day yesterday competing in the Redwoods.
Reminder: Water or Milk only please!
Lately several children have been bringing energy drinks or juice to school and drinking it before school. This gives some children a sugar high and makes it difficult for the teacher to manage their learning in class. At Reporoa Primary School we allow water or milk as drink. Please respect this and only send water or milk to school.
Outdoor Classroom:
Stars of the week:
Ka Rawe te mahi (awesome work) to Ellie, Felix, Alexander and Amy for their extra effort in writing this week.
Sports:
Cluster swimming competition on Tuesday 13th at Reporoa College. Time TBA as soon as we get the information.
You may have noticed that we have been very sporty lately, taking advantage of a number of extra programmes available to our school. The children have been enjoying swimming support with Sammy and Felicity from Youthtown, ‘Go4It’ through Sport BOP with Stephanie, and cricket skills.
